QUBIC Grid Backup privacy policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

QUBIC Grid Backup is a personal utility used by the owner of a QUBIC Grid instance. It has no public user accounts.

Google Drive data

The utility requests Google Drive access to upload, list, verify, retrieve, and delete encrypted backup files in the owner's designated backup folder. The OAuth permission technically covers all Drive files, but the configured backup workflow targets that folder. It does not use Drive data for advertising or profiling.

Storage and sharing

Database backup contents and filenames are encrypted by rclone before upload to Google Drive. The owner controls the Drive account and the backup configuration. Backup files are not intentionally shared with other people. Google stores the encrypted files as the selected storage provider.

Retention and control

Old backup files may be removed from the designated folder according to the configured retention period. The owner can revoke this app's Drive access at any time in Google Account settings and can remove stored backups from Drive.
